A.G COOK & CHARLI XCX RELEASE MOCKUMENTARY ANTHEM 'THE MOMENT' FEAT KYLIE JENNER

British 'Brat' dance pop icon CHARLI XCX has unveiled 'The Moment', a tongue-in-cheek mockumentary, depicting the pop star's navigation of the complexities of fame, whilst following for her arena tour debut. The film, starring Rosanna Arquette, and Alexander Skarsgard amongst others, was debuted at the Sundance Festival, to mixed reviews.

But die-hie fans, liked its kitschy appeal, and somewhat of a parody. A mixture of fan-fiction, Spinal Tap, and 'Spice World'.

So perhaps then it was all the more apt to feature reality mega-star and brand empress, Kylie Jenner cameoing in it's accompanying music video, complete with sultry chug of a cigarette. With some people complaining it sets a bad example to her followers, it feels fitting for the 'Brat' aesthetic.

The track, produced by A.G. Cook, who was an executive producer on 2024's 'Brat', created the score for 'The Moment'. The title track's video features an army of identical 'Charli's', whipping thier hair. Squelchy acid synths solidify Charli XCX's dance influence on pop culture, especially in the State's where the sound still very much has 'euro-pop' sensibilities.
