NORTHERN SPAIN – BARCELONA, SAN SEBASTIAN, BILBAO TO THE ASTURIAS
Well versed as a tourist destination, Catalonia’s capital of Barcelona has been a hive of tourism for many years. However, recently it topped a study as the world’s best nightlife destination, beating its Balearic rival Ibiza to the top spot. It is also less expensive for drinks than not just Ibiza, but even other major city destinations, making it more accessible for the clubber. With a variety of districts from trendy ‘El-Born’, and edgy El Raval, to the well heeled reaches of Zona Alta, there is something for everyone.
Listen to jazz at ‘JazzMan’ or ‘La Whiskeria’, or head over to ‘Razzmatazz’ for party vibes. For the more discerning underground connoisseur head to ‘Moog’ on Carrer de l’Arc, or ‘La Terrrazza’ on Montjuic hill for quality techno and house.

If you can rise early enough, a 5 and a half hour train ride will take you towards the scenic Basque country to San Sebastian and Bilbao with its Guggenheim museum, and vibrant Old town. San Sabastian, known for its Michelin starred culinary scene and 'pintxos' ,will be a fine pit stop to Oviedo, the heart of the Asturias, and home of its gothic medieval cathedral and Fine Arts Museum. The Asturias provide the perfect spot for August 2026’s total solar eclipse, which will be plunged into darkness on August 12th, with the region being one of the best locations in the world to witness totality. Views from the Picos de Europa mountain ranges will be particularly spectacular.

ACCRA, GHANA

And for some time now, it has been gathering speed as a major tourist destination. Accra’s nightlife is renowned for its vibrant energy, and famous hospitality.
